The rinofiller is nothing more than the non-surgical correction of a nose that has alterations in the profile or form that can be corrected with subcutaneous injections of hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is used in this case to rebalance the shape of the nose. In most patients the effects of treatment may persist for up to 12 months. The procedure takes place on an outpatient basis without the need for anesthesia lasting only a few minutes. For a better result it is sometimes useful to program a touch up within a month of the first session. Sometimes it represents a valid alternative to surgery, even if to be repeated over time. Not all corrections are possible with rinofiller, but often allows excellent results in 10 minutes of treatment.
After the session no local dressings or bandages are required while rest is required for a few days from sporting activities and it is advisable not to wear sunglasses or eyeglasses if the upper region of the back of the nose is treated.
The hyaluronic acids used in this type of procedure are the same used for the remaining anatomic areas of the face. In experienced hands the procedure is safe and burdened by reduced side effects. It does not allow the reduction of the dimensions of the nose but it corrects the irregularities through a modest increase of its volumes.
