What is it for?

Laser Luxea PLUS treatment is a non-invasive, customisable and highly effective solution for improving the appearance of rosacea and couperose, two skin conditions characterised by persistent redness, dilated capillaries and inflammation of the facial skin.

Suitable for:

  • Reduce chronic facial redness;
  • Reduce the visibility of dilated capillaries (telangiectasia);
  • Alleviate redness and feelings of heat or burning associated with rosacea;
  • Even out skin tone and improve overall skin texture;
  • Visually improve facial skin with progressive results over time.

This treatment is ideal for those who want a more even complexion, with less reactive skin and a harmonious appearance, without resorting to drugs or invasive procedures.

How it works

Laser Luxea PLUS technology uses selective light pulses that act on dilated blood vessels and the vascular component of rosacea. The light energy is absorbed by the haemoglobin in the superficial vessels, producing a controlled thermal effect that promotes the closure of visible capillaries, thus reducing widespread redness of the skin.

Main mechanisms of action:

  • Action on blood vessels: the light selectively targets dilated capillaries, helping to reduce their visibility and redness.
  • Anti-inflammatory effect: helps reduce local inflammation and persistent redness typical of rosacea.
  • Improved skin appearance: by treating the vascular component responsible for redness, the skin appears more even, radiant and less reactive.

The treatment is well tolerated, does not require significant recovery time and can be adapted to different skin types and degrees of rosacea/couperose.

For Him

Laser technology aimed at reducing widespread redness and superficial vascular marks. Improves skin tone stability and uniformity with progressive treatments. In men, redness on the nose and cheeks can give a tired or "irritated" appearance, often accentuated by temperature changes, sporting activities or alcohol consumption. The laser allows selective treatment of superficial microvessels, with settings customised according to skin type and sensitivity. Improvement occurs session after session, making the complexion more even without erasing natural expressiveness. After treatment, temporary redness and a slight sensation of heat may occur, which can be managed with targeted post-procedure instructions.

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions are required?

The number of sessions depends on the severity of the rosacea/couperose and the individual's response to the treatment.
Generally, 2–5 sessions are recommended, spaced 3–4 weeks apart, to achieve progressive results.

Is the treatment painful?

Most patients describe only a sensation of warmth or slight tingling during laser application, thanks to advanced technology and skin cooling systems.

Can you return to normal activities immediately?

Yes. The treatment is non-invasive and does not usually require a long recovery time; you can resume your normal activities immediately after the session.

When will I see the results?

Improvements are often visible after the first few sessions, with a gradual reduction in redness and superficial capillaries. The results tend to consolidate with subsequent sessions.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

The treatment can be tailored to your skin type and phototype, allowing for a safe approach even for the most sensitive skin. However, the treatment is contraindicated for phototypes IV to VI.

Are there any side effects?

After treatment, mild and temporary redness may appear in the treated area, which normally resolves within a few hours or days. It is important to follow the post-treatment instructions for sun protection and skin care.
